Jury/Witness Duty

An employee who is called to serve on a jury will be granted time off to fulfill his or her civic duty in accordance with applicable federal and state laws. A copy of the jury summons or witness subpoena must be submitted to his or her manager to be eligible for jury or witness leave. The employee serving on a jury may receive paid time off for a maximum of 4 days. Subject to applicable state law, an employee may use accrued vacation time for the days he or she spends on jury service or appears as a witness. On any day or half-day you are not required to serve, you are expected to return to work.
